M. Pokora

M. Pokora, born Matthieu Tota, is a French singer born in 1985 in Strasbourg. After winning Popstars in 2003 with the group Linkup, he has led a solo career since 2004 with ten studio albums, up to “Adrénaline” in 2025, as well as the title role in the musical “Robin des Bois”. He also won the first season of Danse avec les stars in 2011. He is the most awarded artist in the history of the NRJ Music Awards.

Jeremy Jakubowicz photographed him in Cannes on 23 October 2026, late in the afternoon, a few hours before the ceremony where he received his 17th trophy, French-language male artist of the year. At the hotel entrance, between dark wood panelling and glass doors, Jeremy chose direct flash to sculpt the singer's silhouette and tattooed arms: a smiling portrait, a thumbs-up, a full-length shot. In 2024 M. Pokora recorded “Chaque seconde” as a duet with Pierre Garnier, whom Jeremy has also photographed. All the sessions of the day are on the NRJ Music Awards photographer page.
